This full-time temporary role at Terra Losa involves working under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive care that fosters independence in residents. Your expertise in assisting with daily needs will ensure a comfortable living experience for all residents through engaging relationships and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute individualized care plans for residents
• Aid with daily hygiene, meals, and mobility needs
• Administer medication correctly and safely
• Perform necessary procedures as delegated by supervising staff
• Maintain communication with health care professionals regarding resident status
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Experience in elderly and/or palliative care preferred
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills
• Commitment to person-centered care initiatives
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols
