As a Recreation Assistant, you will join the Interdisciplinary Care Team to aid in developing and executing recreation programs for residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing approved group and individual recreation programs

• Record daily resident attendance and participation

• Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and equipment

• Support new staff and practicum students during orientation

• Transport residents using program vehicle when necessary

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy or relevant experience

• CPR and Standard First Aid certification

• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

• Experience with mental health populations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
