Covenant Health is seeking a Health Care Aide to join its team at the Misericordia Community Hospital. This role focuses on providing direct personal care, monitoring health status, and ensuring the comfort and dignity of clients. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct personal care and health support services
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in health status
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Requirements:
• Valid practice permit with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute settings
• Preferred experience in mental health or emergency units
• Completion of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training preferred
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check prior to employment
