As a Health Care Aide in Unit 21, you will be a vital part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and observing patients’ wellbeing. This position requires both independent work and teamwork under the supervision of licensed health professionals to ensure a safe care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility

• Deliver observational reporting on patients' health and mood

• Support nurses during routine care and activities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

• Engage with families and caregivers for comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Eligibility for registration as a Health Care Aide with CLHA

• Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months

• Preferred:
Two years of surgical experience

• Satisfactory criminal record check required

• Strong communication skills in a healthcare setting
