Drive sales and catering performance for 53 North Collection’s three Edmonton hotels through strategic planning, team leadership, and revenue management expertise.
As Director of Sales and Catering, you will oversee commercial initiatives across the Matrix, Metterra, and Varscona Hotels. You will manage teams, develop market-aligned strategies, and strengthen relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners. Cross-functional coordination supports event execution and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage teams delivering revenue goals and guest experiences
- Align sales strategies with business objectives and brand standards
- Foster relationships that grow opportunities and brand visibility
- Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and operations teams
- Mentor employees through coaching and performance management
- Senior sales and catering experience of four to five years
- Proven sales experience in hotel environments
- Multi-property hotel experience preferred
- Financial acumen involving forecasting, revenue management, and budgeting
- Ability to inspire teams and introduce new ideas
