As the Student Experience & Development Coordinator, you’ll lead the charge in designing and executing a best-in-class employment strategy that fuels Chandos’ future talent pipeline. What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic employment program that includes:
  • High school RAP initiatives
  • Student term employment (i.e. Co-op)
  • New graduate opportunities
  • Early career programs and other emerging talent pathways
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
• Build strong relationships with post-secondary institutions, career centers, and industry partners to showcase Chandos as an employer of choice.
• Represent Chandos at career fairs, networking events, and community activities, promoting exciting opportunities for students and early-career professionals.
• Create an engaging onboarding experience and support participants throughout their journey.
• Track program success through KPIs like engagement, retention, and rehire rates.
• Innovate! Bring forward ideas for scholarships, mentorship programs, development projects, and more.
• Supporting the HR program and policy team with other initiatives as required.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of HR experience, ideally with a focus on talent acquisition or student programs.
• A degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and a knack for managing multiple priorities.
• Strategic thinking with a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Bonus points for student employment related experience!
