Join the Health Sciences Association of Alberta as a Labour Relations Officer I. This entry-level role based in Edmonton or Calgary involves supporting members and addressing workplace issues through effective communication.

This temporary full-time position fills three Labour Relations Officer I roles at HSAA, where you will aid approximately 30,000 members. You will work under the guidance of the Labour Relations team, engaging in member inquiries while developing necessary skills for a career in labour relations. Your responsibilities will include managing grievances and promoting member engagement through effective representation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer inquiries related to workplace and union processes

• Assist members with early-stage workplace issues

• Conduct investigations and document resolutions

• Oversee grievance management and preparation

• Attend meetings to represent members as needed

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Labour Relations or a similar area

• Experience in member advocacy or union environments is advantageous

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite essential

• Must hold a valid driver's license for travel
