Tokyo Smoke HR Coordinator Position

Join Tokyo Smoke in Edmonton as an HR Coordinator, focusing on recruitment and employee relations. This role is key to enhancing HR functions in a retail setting.

You will assist the Vice President of HR in overseeing the recruitment process, onboarding for new hires, and performance management support. With a collaborative approach, you will handle day-to-day HR tasks, maintain employee records, and assist management with staffing for new store openings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track recruitment processes for various positions

• Provide onboarding support for new hires and employee orientations

• Maintain confidentiality in HR records and HRIS updates

• Track HR metrics related to terminations and leaves

• Collaborate with business leaders on HR solutions

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Business

• 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources is preferred

• CPHR designation or progress toward it is beneficial

• Familiarity with HRIS systems like Dayforce or UKG

• Advanced skills in Excel with attention to detail
