Fractional HR Leader​/Advisor North America; f​/m​/d

As our Fractional HR Leader / Advisor, you will act as a trusted advisor to our CEO and North American leadership team, while helping us design and implement practical HR structures for a remote, project-based workforce. This is an ongoing fractional engagement averaging approximately 0.5 day per week, with some flexibility depending on business needs. Key areas of support include:

• Advising and coaching the CEO and the North American leadership team on people and organisational matters
• Strengthening HR policies, processes and governance
• Supporting compliance with employment requirements across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions
• Developing effective HR practices for a distributed, remote and project-based team
• Coaching managers on performance and employee-relations matters
• Helping implement the agreed HR structures and initiatives

• Around 20 years of experience in HR or an allied field, including senior advisory or leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment practices and a good understanding of the broader North American regulatory environment
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and coach to executives and leadership teams
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing practical HR structures, ideally for remote or project-based workforce
• Experience in rail, transportation, engineering, infrastructure, consulting or a similar client-focused environment is an advantage
• Ideally suited to an experienced HR professional who wants to apply their expertise through a focused advisory or portfolio role, without taking on another large corporate position
