Human Resources Generalist

Thurber Engineering is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Edmonton, Alberta. Support employees throughout their lifecycle while fostering a positive company culture and efficient HR processes.

As a Human Resources Generalist with Thurber, you'll play a vital role in managing HR operations within our engineering-based sectors. Collaborate with management and staff to enhance onboarding, performance reviews, and conflict resolutions. This position directly supports our high-performing workforce while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model and promote company culture and values

• Assist in researching job descriptions and conducting interviews

• Support onboarding and training processes for new hires

• Guide managers through performance reviews and conflict resolution

• Maintain HR records and information systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Business Administration

• 5 to 10 years of progressive HR experience

• CPHR designation preferred

• Proficient with HRIS and workforce reporting

• High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
