The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time.

The Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence team through the enterprise data governance program is responsible for ensuring our data is secure, private, accurate, available, and usable across the organization.
Reporting to the Associate Director of the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence, you will oversee a team responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive strategic decisions. The role involves managing projects, mentoring team members, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of insights derived from data. You will be responsible for leading the modelling of complex problems, discovering insights and predicting outcomes and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques.
