Our Regional Smart Fare System (RSFS) makes transit seamless — tap and go with cards, devices, and smart tech across multiple transit networks. Behind the scenes, a complex ecosystem of validators, ticket machines, POS systems, and handheld devices keeps everything running smoothly.
That’s where you come in.
As a Service Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping this system live, reliable, and performing at its best — both in the field and behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Keep critical transit devices up and running across the networkPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on smart fare systemsDiagnose and resolve real-time issues and incidentsMonitor system performance and run device diagnosticsSupport software updates and system releasesTrack and manage device inventory and componentsCollaborate with transit agencies, internal teams, and vendorsDeliver against high SLA expectations in a fast-paced environmentRequirements
What You Bring
Background in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or similar)Experience working with networked systems and applicationsStrong understanding of system architecture & operating systemsHands-on experience with maintenance in large-scale systemsA natural problem-solver with strong attention to detailAbility to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressureGreat communication skills and a customer-first mindsetA valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicleBonus points for:
