Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the development and formalization of IT governance, security processes, operational procedures, and continuity planning initiatives within a complex enterprise environment (Onsite, Edmonton AB).
Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in documenting and formalizing operational and security-related business processes, governance frameworks, incident response procedures, vendor access controls, continuity planning, and crisis communication workflows. This role will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to define workflows, clarify roles and responsibilities, improve governance maturity, and support monitoring and compliance initiatives while technical teams handle implementation activities.
Must-Haves:
7+ years as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT environmentsExperience documenting and formalizing business processes, workflows, SOPs, and governance frameworksExperience supporting enterprise security, risk, compliance, or operational improvement initiativesExperience developing or supporting incident response plans

, and operational governance documentationStrong experience facilitating stakeholder discussions to define roles, responsibilities, and RACI matricesExperience with vendor access governance, controls, or operational compliance processesNice-to-Haves:
Previous experience supporting cybersecurity or information security programsExperience with DLP, UEBA, monitoring processes, or security visibility initiativesExperience creating crisis communication or regulatory response proceduresExperience working within casino, gaming, hospitality, or highly regulated environmentsCBAP, PMP, or related certificationExperience working in onsite enterprise operational environmentsResponsibilities:
Document and formalize operational and governance-related business processes and workflowsFacilitate stakeholder sessions to define roles, responsibilities, and RACI structuresDevelop and maintain incident response, continuity, and governance documentationGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirementsSupport governance, monitoring, compliance, and operational improvement initiativesCollaborate with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational processes and technical implementationAssist in the creation of structured crisis communication and regulatory response proceduresSupport process improvement initiatives related to operational controls, vendor management, and security governance
