Service Designer

Position: Full-Time Service Designer
Shape digital public services as a full-time Service Designer with the Ministry of Technology and Innovation in Edmonton. Lead design innovations and research to enhance user-centered platforms.
As part of the Digital Design and Delivery division, you'll craft end-to-end service designs for scalable platform products.

Your role involves researching user insights, providing service design guidance, and shaping AI-enabled interactions. Collaborate with teams across ministries to ensure services meet accessibility and public expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end service design for shared platform products

• Drive research and insights generation for design direction

• Provide senior design guidance and influence platform direction

• Shape AI-enabled interactions aligned with user expectations

• Ensure high service quality through continuous improvement
Requirements:

• University degree in related field and 5 years experience

• Proven service design and UX design experience

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma

• Strong ability to translate complex requirements into design

• Experience leading multi-stakeholder research and insights
