Digital Transformation Manager

Drive innovation at the Alberta Public Service as a Digital Transformation Manager. Lead a team focused on enhancing user experience and digital service delivery in a full-time role.
This critical position within the Assisted Living and Social Services (ALSS) aims to modernize programming through human-centered design. You will oversee projects that implement digital innovations improving efficiency for both Albertans and ministry staff. Ideal candidates should possess strong UX skills, along with experience in product management and project methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead digital service projects for the ALSS Modernization Office

• Develop product management practices for effective service delivery

• Mentor and support a team of professional staff

• Apply project management methodologies to ensure project success

• Prepare communications for executive leadership, including Briefing Notes
Requirements:

• University degree in a related field with four years' experience

• Training in User Experience (UX) design principles

• Product owner or scrum certification required

• Knowledge of SCSS programs and service delivery mechanisms

• Strong understanding of barriers to accessing services
