Position: QA Manager/ IT Test Manager/ IT Test Project Manager

QA Manager / IT Test Manager / IT Test Project Manager
Duration:
Contract (1 year + potential to extend)

Location:

Toronto, ON (3-4 days in office) – Onsite
Compensation: $75‑$80 per hour
Day-to-day responsibilities   Develop and execute testing strategies using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Collaborate with Development and other internal teams to troubleshoot issues, identify risks, and ensure defect resolution
Maintain adherence to defined testing quality standards
Serve in a hybrid role as both Test Manager and Project Manager
Must-haves / Key skills needed   Strong communication skills
Proficiency in status reporting, meeting facilitation, and PowerPoint presentation creation
Project management background with experience managing QA projects and coordinating testing activities
Experience running large programs with solid agile expertise
3‑5 years of experience with ALM, QTest, Jira, and Confluence
Knowledge of automation testing
Solid understanding of testing best practices and all testing phases
Mandatory proficiency with HP ALM and Jira
Ability to build dashboards and produce reports with connectivity and traceability
Pluses   Experience interacting with large groups of stakeholders
Communication skills for a fast‑paced, large‑scale environment
Background in finance or banking sectors
Scrum Master certification
Experience managing teams, programs, and coordinating with multiple internal and external applications
