Our Western Canada Team is looking to grow and expand, offering unique opportunities to engage with high-profile clients and drive transformative initiatives across diverse industries. We are seeking an exceptional Management Consultant with a strong background in Project Management and experience in Consulting, Utilities, IT, or Oil & Gas
.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of industry best practices, a broad knowledge of business and technology solutions, and hands-on experience managing complex business processes or technology transformation projects. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate an understanding of emerging AI capabilities, including Generative AI and agentic AI
, and how these technologies can be applied responsibly to improve productivity, enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and support innovation across client environments.

As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee complex initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring projects are completed successfully, on time, and with a strong focus on client satisfaction. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, technology enablement, and AI-driven transformation, while helping clients navigate change and adopt new ways of working.

Must be local to Edmonton and the surrounding area – and willing to work in a hybrid environment with a combo of remote and on-client site.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to define business objectives, scope, success criteria, and project strategy.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and status updates to support engagement and decision-making.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring delivery remains on scope, schedule, budget, and aligned with quality expectations.
  • Monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
  • Define and track KPIs, conduct post-implementation reviews, and apply lessons learned to improve future delivery.
  • Mentor and coach team members while staying current on industry trends and project management best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong management consulting capabilities, including structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, executive-level communication, stakeholder management, business case development, and the ability to translate complex and ambiguous business challenges into practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Qualifications

    Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience working in Consulting, Utilities, IT, or an Oil & Gas is a must.
  • A leader with 7-10+ years experience working as a Project Manager
    , including experience on complex, high-visibility, and enterprise-wide/cross-functional projects
  • Proven track record and ability to collaborate with and influence large stakeholder groups representing a variety of roles, functions and business areas
  • PMP certification (or equivalent)
  • Other

    Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Change Management and incorporating OCM best practices to your work.
  • Strong and succinct communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to interact with leadership, key business stakeholders, subject matter experts and technical team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or information technology (or equivalent education plus experience)
