Elevate early childhood initiatives as a Senior Data Analyst with the Alberta Ministry of Education and Childcare in Edmonton. Focus on data analysis, reporting, and strategic evaluation to improve childcare services across Alberta.
In this permanent, full-time role, you'll support the Early Learning and Child Care initiatives by collecting and analyzing data to measure outcomes. Your expertise will drive insights related to accessibility, affordability, and quality in childcare services, influencing critical program decisions. You'll engage with complex datasets, ensuring integrity and accuracy in data handling while contributing to comprehensive reporting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze data for Early Learning and Child Care initiatives
• Track trends and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure data integrity through internal and external reviews
• Develop cross-ministry reporting strategies
• Support innovative data collection and web applications
Requirements:
• University degree in Data Science or related field
• 4 years relevant analytical experience
• Proficient in SQL and Power BI
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
