Job Title: Enterprise Platform Engineer
Location: Edmonton, AB
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Enterprise Platform Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support enterprise-wide platform capabilities, governance standards, and modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise platform solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
- Support modernization initiatives for core banking platforms, citizen services applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom technology platforms.
- Develop enterprise platform standards, shared services, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support customer, citizen, and telecom-facing enterprise platforms.
- Implement automation, monitoring, observability, and platform engineering best practices.
- Support enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive platform scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Promote platform standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an Enterprise Platform Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
- Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, or telecom platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation and modernization programs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, platform engineering, and automation technologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and platform governance.
- Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale and mission-critical environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Platform, Cloud, or Dev Ops certifications preferred.
