Join General Bank of Canada as an IT Support Engineer in Edmonton. Provide outstanding tech support and leverage automation to enhance the employee experience in a collaborative environment.
In this full-time role, you will report to the Director, Enterprise Computing Services, and manage all technology-related inquiries from GBC staff. Engage in troubleshooting, ticket management, and solution deployment, with a strong emphasis on customer service. Your expertise will support a modern, automated approach to IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all technology support tickets from staff
• Deploy devices and configure software for users
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and licenses
• Assist employees with daily technical challenges
• Develop scripts for automation of repetitive tasks
Requirements:
• Degree in IT or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in technical support or helpdesk
• Strong scripting skills, particularly in Power Shell
• Profound understanding of Microsoft 365
• Experience with identity management in Azure AD
