Service Desk IT Support

In this role, you will provide technical support for IT systems vital to patient care within Alberta Health Services. The department seeks a motivated individual with a background in computer support and solid troubleshooting experience. If you can communicate effectively and have a customer service mindset, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide initial troubleshooting and technical assistance
• Identify solutions and guide users through issues
• Educate users with “how-to” support
• Create and update support tickets thoroughly
• Suggest improvements for Service Desk documentation
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field
• 2–3 years of experience in support desk roles
• Knowledge of PC software and configurations
• Experience with VPN troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication
