Must Haves

Minimum 10 years in SQL Server database administration including performance optimization
, backups/restores
, and security management

Extensive experience with City View applications in a municipal or public-sector context

Proven ability to support database system upgrades
, configuration
, and troubleshooting

Post-secondary education in Information Technology or related field

Nice to Have

Experience supporting mapping or web-based municipal applications

Knowledge of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes or technical specification documentation

Responsibilities

Lead and support IT projects involving database systems through planning, implementation, upgrades, and improvements

Manage SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and security

Analyze business requirements and develop corresponding technical and business specifications

Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate applications, mapping solutions, and custom systems

Administer user access, security roles, and corporate data standards

Create and maintain test environments for system updates and troubleshooting
