Our power & utilities client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes for multiple projects, Including coaching and guiding a team, and facilitating Scrum events
Calgary-based candidates preferred. Hybrid work model. Candidates can be located in Calgary or Edmonton. 37.5 hour work week.
Must Haves
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager using Agile Scrum principles and practicesExperience facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning
, sprint review
, retrospectives
, and daily stand-upsExperience with Product backlog prioritization,
KPI tracking
, and status reporting for stakeholders and leadershipExperience with Microsoft Office
, Agile project management tools
, Jira
, and TrelloBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceNice to Have
Retail energy industry experienceGeneral conceptual understanding of programming and DB queryingCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certificationSAFe certification or Kanban certificationGeneral conceptual understanding of programming and DB queryingResponsibilities
Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes for multiple projectsGuide and coach teams on Agile Scrum principles and practicesPrioritize and maintain the product backlog with Product ManagersFacilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesIdentify and troubleshoot obstacles impacting team progressCommunicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholdersCreate and maintain status reports for leadership
