Position: Hands-On IT Operations Lead Needed
Become the IT Operations Lead at Elections Alberta, ensuring effective IT service delivery for provincial elections. This critical role involves hands-on management in a hybrid IT environment.

As an integral part of the team, you will report to the Director, playing a key role in managing IT services that bolster Alberta's electoral integrity. This temporary position demands active engagement in system administration, oversight of IT procurement, and operational management for large-scale electoral events across the province. You will guide a team while ensuring best practices in infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize service catalogue and service desk reporting

• Directly manage Azure and on-premises IT infrastructure

• Oversee the IT procurement and asset lifecycle

• Maintain organized and compliant IT asset inventories

• Prepare technology for major electoral events across Alberta

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Minimum four years in a relevant IT operations role

• Direct experience with Azure and IT service management

• Proven supervisory and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in mission-critical environments
