Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Chief Information Security Officer leads the cybersecurity and IT compliance functions. This role is essential in safeguarding university infrastructure while ensuring that all programs comply with evolving regulations. Your expertise will guide the institution's strategic vision in dealing with the dynamic challenges presented by artificial intelligence in education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive cybersecurity strategies
• Ensure organizational compliance with cybersecurity regulations
• Work alongside other IST directors on security projects
• Create operational plans aligned with strategic goals
• Enable safe AI applications in teaching and research
Requirements:
• Strong background in cybersecurity management
• Familiarity with academic settings and policies
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
• Capable of addressing innovative AI implications
