Location:
Edmonton, AB (Remote Opportunity): 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Remote , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
Must have:
Education:
College or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
Experience:
Experience designing, planning, implementing and supporting enterprise solution databases.
Experience in performing threat and risk assessments and presenting recommendations for risk mitigation to senior management.
Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions
Experience with enterprise architecture principles and associated best practices, methods, standards, tools, policies, and processes
Experience working as a Data Architect in an enterprise IT environment.
Nice to have:
Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)..
Experience in using a tool for architecture models such as:
Power Designer, ER Studio, Er-win, BPwin, Rational Rose
Experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure
Experience with enterprise business intelligence and performance management products. Specifically, Cognos BI Suite, Microsoft SQL Server Services, MS Power BI (Query, View) or Micro Strategy
Experience working as a Data Architect designing and implementing enterprise database solutions
Experience working with developing SQL databases
Experience working with implementing a SQL data warehouse
Experience working with querying data with Transact-SQL
