Elevate customer satisfaction as an IT Service Technician focused on retail, ensuring all IT equipment runs smoothly. This role demands strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Technician with at least 2 years of on-site support experience.
Your role will include diagnosing and repairing a wide range of IT equipment, including POS machines and networking gear, all while delivering excellent customer service. The technician will also be responsible for preventative maintenance and preparing field reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment, including POS and PCs
• Provide preventative maintenance to keep systems operational
• Diagnose networking issues and structured cabling
• Prepare detailed field reports for service calls
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues
Requirements:
• 2+ years in IT support for commercial clients
• Knowledge of various IT hardware and networking
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Valid driver's license and clear driving abstract
