** The
** Senior Manager, Sec Ops
** is responsible for leading BDO's security operations function, including cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and operational security processes. This role drives the continuous enhancement of security capabilities, manages cybersecurity risk from an operational perspective, and leads a team of security professionals to protect the organization's systems, data, and digital assets.  
** Job Responsibilities
*** Lead the Security Operations function, establishing strategic direction, operational processes, and service delivery standards for threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.
* Oversee security monitoring and threat detection capabilities to proactively identify and respond to cybersecurity threats.
* Direct cybersecurity incident response activities, ensuring timely investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
* Manage relationships with third-party service providers, technology partners, and internal teams to ensure effective security operations and service delivery.
* Develop and maintain operational security metrics, reporting, and dashboards to provide visibility into security posture, incident trends, and team performance.
* Lead initiatives focused on operational risk reduction and continuous improvement of security capabilities.
* Ensure security operations processes align with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement of operational security processes, procedures, and response capabilities.
* Partner with technology and business teams to ensure security considerations are incorporated into technology initiatives and operational processes.
* Build, coach, and develop a high-performing security team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

** Qualifications & Requirements
*** Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
* Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including significant experience in security operations, incident response, threat management, and cyber defense.
