Provide strategic guidance to underwriting teams on risk assessment, policy wording, and pricing strategiesDevelop and support innovative insurance products, including new initiativesCollaborate cross-province and cross-functionally with corporate underwriting and other stakeholdersAnalyze market segments, geographies, and lines of business to recommend product improvementsLead and participate in special projects, audits, and regulatory compliance initiativesEnsure products and rating changes adhere to regulatory requirements across all jurisdictionsPromote workflow efficiencies through coaching and information sessionsSupport reinsurance program analysis and exposure management effortsStay current with emerging market trends and participate in professional developmentQualifications
CIP or FCIP designation preferredMinimum 10 years of multi-line underwriting experience, with a focus on personal lines and auto preferredProven experience with GuidewireStrong knowledge of reinsurance, product development, and regulatory reportingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical mindset with great attention to detailAt Aplin — together with our brands Compu Staff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
