Job Summary

IPG is seeking an Advanced Claims Adjuster that leads and oversees the claims operations team ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provides accountable oversight for the implementation and documentation of policies, practices, and processes.
  • Ensures proper licensing and insurance compliance for adjusters.
  • Develops strategies including short‑ and long‑term plans to facilitate ongoing work, process improvement, customer relations and other functions.
  • Monitors quality assurance results.
  • Directs oversight of adjuster’s ethics, licensing, and compliance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Requirements
  • Canadian Employees only: 6 years’ relevant experience to include 3 years’ holding a Level 3 Independent Adjuster License
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college); or
  • CIP (Certified Insurance Professional) designation
  • Must hold Level 3 Independent Adjusters License with an ability to be licensed nationally
  • Typically, responsible for managing major/complex projects involving delegation of work and review of work product
  • Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area
  • May manage large projects or processes that span outside of immediate job area
  • May be responsible for leading daily operations.
  • May function as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of adjusting experience
  • Has a Level 3 adjusters license in their home province
  • A CIP and has completed courses:
  • CIP Courses
    • C11 - Principles and Practice of Insurance
    • C12 - Insurance on Property
    • C14 - Automobile Insurance – Part 1
    • C110 - Essentials of Loss Adjusting
    • C13 - Insurance Against Liability – Part 1
    • C32 - Bodily Injury Claims
    • C111 - Advanced Loss Adjusting
    • C112 - Practical Issues in Claims Management
