Elevate your claims handling expertise with Definity as an Intermediate Bodily Injury Claims Specialist. This hybrid role allows you to investigate, negotiate, and settle claims in a collaborative environment.

In this position, reporting to the Leader of National Casualty and Bodily Injury Claims, you’ll manage a portfolio of Intermediate Third-Party Bodily Injury claims. You are expected to confirm policy coverages, determine liability, and engage stakeholders effectively. Your focus on teamwork and constant improvement is crucial for your own development and that of others on your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of Intermediate Bodily Injury Claims

• Investigate claims to determine liability and quantum

• Confirm policy coverages and maintain detailed file records

• Attend mediations and participate in settlement initiatives

• Settle claims directly with Plaintiff's Counsel

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma, CIP designation preferred

• Minimum 3 years of claims handling experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset

• Licensed in multiple provinces is preferred
