The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a
Personal Lines Account Manager / Broker
to join their established personal lines team. This opportunity is well suited to a licensed broker with at least 1–2 years of experience who enjoys the service side of the business while still being comfortable supporting new business and cross‑selling opportunities.

A large portion of the personal lines business is quoted and placed directly through insurer portals, so confidence navigating company systems and working efficiently across multiple markets will be important. The brokerage works with a broad range of major personal lines insurers.

Our client is an established independent insurance brokerage with a stable team and a strong focus on developing its people. The office includes both experienced insurance professionals and employees at earlier stages of their careers, creating a supportive environment with access to knowledgeable colleagues for training and mentorship.

The organization has a history of developing employees internally and providing opportunities for individuals to grow into brokerage roles. The team works collaboratively, particularly during peak seasonal periods, and employees are encouraged to participate in both service and sales opportunities.

This is a full‑time, in‑office position. Employee parking is provided.

You are a licensed personal lines insurance professional who enjoys helping clients and working as part of a team. You are comfortable navigating insurer portals, handling a steady volume of transactions, and moving between service and sales activities as business needs change.

You are organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment where the team collectively supports the client rather than maintaining individual file ownership. You enjoy the relationship‑building side of personal insurance and recognize opportunities to expand client relationships across multiple personal lines products.

• Level 1 or Level 2 Insurance Licence
• Minimum 1–2 years of personal lines insurance experience
• Experience servicing personal lines clients in a brokerage environment
• Strong working knowledge of insurer portals and online company systems
• Comfortable supporting both service and new business activity
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑based environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage higher volumes during peak seasons
• Experience with Power Broker and Applied considered an asset
• Motorcycle insurance experience considered an asset

• Starting salary of at least $60,000, with compensation dependent on experience
• $50 per-policy bonus, paid bi‑weekly
