Join a well-established insurance organization as an Underwriting Operations Analyst in Edmonton. This hybrid role focuses on underwriting systems and operational enhancements.
In this key position, you will report to the Manager of Underwriting Systems & Operations and support the organization's strategic goals.
Your role will involve leading projects, validating complex underwriting rules, and improving workflows across multiple platforms including Guidewire. Collaborating with both business and technical teams, you will ensure effective implementation and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of assigned projects
• Manage testing of underwriting product updates
• Identify and implement workflow efficiencies
• Mentor junior analysts on best practices
• Assist with regulatory reporting
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant field required
• CIP or FCIP designation mandatory
• Minimum 7 years underwriting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in training material development
