Peace Hills General Insurance is seeking a Claims Advisor for a 12-month contract. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in auto claims management, exceptional negotiating skills, and the ability to analyze data decisively. You will confirm coverage, discuss the claims process with clients, and manage payment entitlements promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Confirm coverage and apply to reported claims
• Obtain recorded statements from involved parties
• Evaluate liability and explain claims process
• Calculate entitlements and issue payments timely
• Negotiate settlements for total losses
Requirements:
• 2-4 years' experience in auto claims
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Post-secondary education or CIP/FCIP in progress
• Guidewire experience is an asset
