Associate Lawyer - Commercial Litigation

We are seeking an associate lawyer with 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, insolvency & restructuring, creditors' rights and/or construction litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside established practitioners in a growing litigation practice, who are committed to hiring and developing the best and brightest legal and business professionals.

Banack Deren LLP is an Edmonton-based law firm with roots dating back to 2017. Founded by Jason Banack as HGA Law and initially operating as part of the HGA Group, the firm began with a corporate and commercial practice and expanded to include a litigation practice in 2024 when Mandi Deren joined the firm as a partner. • Able to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Willing to collaborate and work closely with senior lawyers to develop case strategies and progress matters forward.
• A member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta;
