HTM Law LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Lawyer to contribute to its busy Litigation team. This role provides the opportunity for junior-to-mid-level lawyers to manage a diverse caseload including legal enforcement proceedings and civil disputes. You will work directly with clients, ensuring timely legal advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation files through resolution process
• Represent clients in Alberta courts
• Prepare and file legal documents like affidavits
• Advise clients including financial institutions and corporations
• Negotiate during settlement discussions
Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited Canadian law institution
• Member in good standing with Alberta Law Society
• 1-5 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research and negotiation capabilities
• High organizational skills for deadline management
