Our valued client is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee all supply chain functions within their organization. This is a critical and dynamic role that plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and alignment between production, inventory, and demand. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller
, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with multiple departments and lead essential supply chain initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Manage and strengthen supplier relationships
, including contract negotiation.Oversee all logistics operations
, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.Analyze key supply chain metrics—such as inventory turnover, lead times, and consumption patterns
—and implement corrective actions where needed.Lead production scheduling
, coordinating sales forecasts, production capacity, and raw material requirements.Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet both production requirements and customer demand.Collaborate with cross‑functional managers to ensure all critical duties are completed to support supplier and customer commitments.Lead and oversee cycle inventory counts
.Reconcile inventory count variances and maintain strong knowledge of the production process.This is full-time, permanent, in office role based in NW Edmonton.
