Vendor Management Specialist

Become a pivotal part of Edmonton's supply chain as a Vendor Management Specialist. In this role, you will manage the Vendor Managed Inventory program, ensuring operational efficiency and coordination.
Reporting to the Manager of Category Management & Logistics, you will enhance service delivery across 22+ sites by leading inventory assessments and maintaining supplier contracts. Your strategic insights will impact cost-saving initiatives and improve customer service, fostering collaboration among internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular operational reviews and facility consultations

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the VMI program

• Document and standardize inventory workflows

• Use insights for recommendations to streamline services

• Develop supplier management strategies and KPIs
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

• 4+ years of relevant procurement experience

• Proven experience in contract management

• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
