Elevate your supply chain expertise with Nova Scotia Health as a Buyer in Eastern Zone. This full-time position focuses on procurement activities for inventory and essential services.
As a Buyer reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage procurement activities in a centralized service setting. This role requires at least two years of experience in a supply chain environment, ensuring you effectively handle inventory and non-inventory goods and services management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities for inventory and services
• Assist in supply/service contract management
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Conduct skill tests as part of the selection process
• Work closely with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Two years post-secondary in Business or similar
• Minimum two years’ experience in supply chain
• SCMA Certificate is an asset
• Proficiency with SAP preferred
