Drive procurement excellence with Heidelberg Materials as a Buyer across North America. Your expertise in sourcing and managing purchases will support operational needs in Seattle, Vancouver, and Edmonton.
As a Buyer, you will collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and operations teams across several locations. You'll source materials and manage purchase orders to ensure materials are procured timely and efficiently.
Your role will also include evaluating suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and contributing to supply chain improvements for seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source materials, supplies, and services for operational support
• Issue and track purchase orders across multiple sites
• Collaborate with teams in Seattle, Vancouver, and Edmonton
• Monitor inventory and support optimization efforts
• Evaluate and manage suppliers for quality and cost
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
• Proficiency in SAP/Ariba and MS Office
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles
• Clear communication skills with teams and suppliers
