Inventory Control Clerk

Join Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. as a full-time Inventory Control Clerk in Edmonton, AB. This role focuses on purchasing and managing inventory for building supplies, ensuring efficiency.

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will report directly to the Branch/Operations Manager. Your responsibilities include ordering inventory for the branch, expediting purchase orders, and investigating inventory discrepancies. You will also assist the Sales Team with product forecasting and maintain compliance with company SKU standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order showroom products and bulk resale inventory

• Issue and expedite vendor purchase orders daily

• Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies

• Schedule receiving appointments for inventory shipments

• Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts with management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in purchasing, preferably building supplies

• Certificate or diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred

• Experience in warehouse inventory management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

• Excellent communication and time management skills
