Our client is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to support production and operational requirements through effective inventory management and procurement coordination. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, supporting procurement activities, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will bring prior inventory or procurement experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
YourSuccess Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound shipments and coordinate shipping schedules
- Ensure received goods meet purchase order and quality requirements through proper inspection
- Prepare shipping documentation such as bills of lading and inventory tallies as required
- Conduct routine inventory counts and assessments in line with quality standards and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory trackers and records
- Analyze inventory levels to ensure alignment with production demands
- Track and monitor the physical location of inventory in coordination with shop and yard teams
- Procure goods and services that meet operational, production, and quality requirements
- Identify and source new suppliers and assist with supplier qualification activities
- Improve supply-chain efficiency through alternative sourcing strategies or bulk purchasing
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure consistent product standards
- Work with health, safety, and HR teams to promote a safe work environment and identify training needs
- Perform general shop and support duties as required
- Experience in inventory coordination, materials management, or procurement
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze inventory data and anticipate production requirements
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement - Valid Class 5 driver's license
