Position: Junior Purchaser Role with Bird Construction

As a Junior Purchaser at Bird, you will collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager while learning essential administrative tasks and project support. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years in purchasing, along with a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field. Strong attention to detail and effective communication are key components of success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate best terms with suppliers for quality materials

• Ensure timely procurement aligned with project schedules

• Process and reconcile invoices through three-way matching

• Maintain accurate filing systems for all purchase documents

• Assist in tracking and resolving invoice discrepancies

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration

• Proficiency in Vista, Coupa, and Microsoft Office

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage challenges and shifting priorities
