As a Equipment Coordinator for PCL Construction Resources Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Corporate), you will play a critical role in supporting Business Technology Asset Management and district operations by coordinating technology and equipment requests, managing asset activations and transfers, and ensuring the accuracy of asset-related data. As the primary point of contact for equipment coordination across all districts, this position is responsible for maintaining data integrity, resolving issues, supporting reporting and compliance initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Here’s how an Equipment Coordinator for PCL Construction Resources Inc. within Resources contributes to our team:

This role is being offered as a 12‑month contract position.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology and equipment requests, transfers, and activations across all districts.
  • Monitor and track equipment requests, validating project numbers and district codes to ensure accuracy before processing.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to equipment orders, transfers, activations and asset records, acting as a liaison between districts and BT Asset Management.
  • Coordinate technology equipment transfers within the financial system and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
  • Track outbound shipments originating from the warehouse and provide status updates as required.
  • Finalize equipment orders and complete order closeout activities in a timely manner.
  • Communicate stock shortages and backorder impacts while recommending suitable alternatives to meet operational requirements.
  • Generate and maintain reports to support asset tracking, utilization, compliance and operational decision-making.
  • Support asset audits and reconciliation activities by maintaining accurate records and identifying discrepancies.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy and customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as a trusted resource for equipment coordination and issue resolution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for district partners and internal clients.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize competing demands while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
