Overview

As our first Supply Chain Manager, you will have the rare opportunity to build and shape the supply chain function from the ground up, establishing processes, metrics, and best practices to support our continued growth. You'll have the opportunity to make meaningful impact while working closely with the owners and leadership team in an organization that values new ideas and continuous improvement.

This new role will be instrumental in creating a departmental legacy while receiving guidance and support from our experienced leadership team and on-site subject matter experts. It’s an exciting time to join the CVS Team!

Responsibilities
  • Leading CVS Controls' supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory management, production planning, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationships.
  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and support growth initiatives.
  • Leading and developing the Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, and Logistics teams.
  • Managing inventory levels to balance customer service, inventory investment, and operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing purchasing activities, supplier performance, and procurement processes to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Finance to support demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory strategies.
  • Monitoring key supply chain metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve performance.
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including supplier, inventory, and logistics challenges.
  • Negotiating supplier agreements and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Utilizing Kinetic ERP to support inventory planning, purchasing, reporting, and supply chain decision-making.
  • Supporting warehouse flow, logistics optimization, and freight management initiatives.
  • Participating in weekly meetings, annual planning, quarterly planning sessions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Actively supports the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, inventory, purchasing, operations, or manufacturing.
