Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (On-site)

, we're looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations across Canada by coordinating purchasing activities, managing inventory, and ensuring our production teams have the materials they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

As our Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll support daily purchasing and inventory activities while helping drive continuous improvement throughout our supply chain.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Source and purchase raw materials, finished goods, specialized components, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and customer orders.
  • Create, manage, and reconcile purchase orders, including expediting deliveries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to ensure material availability while optimizing stock levels.
  • Assist with forecasting, inventory transfers, shipment tracking, and inventory planning across multiple locations.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and provide pricing, lead times, and freight costs to support estimating and customer service teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Monitor supply chain risks, including supplier capacity, transportation delays, and market conditions, while proactively identifying solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and other departmental initiatives as required.
What You'll Bring

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Inventory Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
