Become a vital part of Canadian North as an Aviation Stores Agent, overseeing inventory management and shipping in support of essential northern services. This role revolves around ensuring efficient aircraft parts distribution.
At Canadian North, we connect northern communities through comprehensive logistics in aviation. As an Aviation Stores Agent, your responsibilities include shipping, receiving, and managing aircraft parts inventory, crucial for daily operations. You'll work collaboratively with internal customers while ensuring strict adherence to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, ship, and record aircraft parts accurately
• Prepare shipments for ground transport efficiently
• Manage inventory and maintain orderly storage areas
• Assist internal customers with parts and equipment needs
• Perform dangerous goods shipping as required
Requirements:
• High school diploma; post-secondary education is an asset
• Minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse environment
• Familiarity with shipping and customs procedures
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and inventory systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability for occasional northern travel
