Sweeper Operator

park paving ltd. Has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in edmonton, and we are looking for experienced members to join our arc division for the 2026 construction season.

these are seasonal positions that offer a competitive wage with benefits

sweeper operator primary duties will include but are not limited to:

• completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle (greasing, drum maintenance, etc.)
• have a clear understanding of the job you are to complete.
• maintain proper tools on trucks
• ensure proper operations and treatment of equipment
• completion of checklists
• ensure all equipment damage is reported
• ensure preventative maintenance is being performed (ie: greasing, broom maintenance, etc.)
• ensure all conveyor belts and hoppers on sweepers are cleaned and inspected during the day and at the end of each shift
• other responsibilities include tooth changes, proper maintenance of equipment, training new employees and labor requirements the foreman requests from you to keep the job progressing.
• maintain site cleanliness. Barricades, roadways, etc.
• perform general laborer duties as needed
