Maintenance Hand Facility

Join Value Village as a Maintenance Hand at the Central Processing Center in Edmonton, AB. This role involves daily inspections, equipment maintenance, and janitorial tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

In this hands-on role, you’ll perform daily maintenance and repairs guided by the Maintenance Supervisor. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintaining forklifts, and addressing machinery malfunctions. Your mechanical skills will be vital in promoting safety and supporting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and prioritize tasks

• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and scales

• Diagnose and make emergency repairs on machinery

• Maintain cleanliness of facility areas and equipment

• Log maintenance activities and repairs performed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or higher education preferred

• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail

• Forklift training certification required

• Good communication skills for teamwork

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
