Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Handyman to join our facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across our centres. The Handyman will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our toys, equipment and centres.
Responsibilities- General centres' repairs, minor fixes and maintenance (Kittens' Mittens Child Care Trail, Kittens' Mittens Child Care Square and Kittens' Mittens Child Care Gateway)
- Furniture and toys assembly and classroom setup
- Child-proofing and safety inspections
- Playground and outdoor maintenance
- Routine preventative maintenance
- Painting, patching, and drywall repair
- Snow removal and seasonal upkeep
- Inspects and assess the Centre for potential hazards, and report them to the Program Director, Owners and/or required agencies
- Other maintenance duties assigned
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
